Norman Rockwell was an American painter and illustrator. Born in 1894, he is best known for his iconic images of American life and culture, as seen through his many covers for "The Saturday Evening Post" magazine. Rockwell's works are characterized by their attention to detail, humor, and idealized depictions of everyday life.
