Concluding Black History Month in February, Meet the Masters students were learning about African American artist Jacob Lawrence. His art portrayed life in America as he saw it growing up in 20th century Harlem, but with a contemporary abstract feel accentuated by bright colors.
Meet the Masters strives to present a diverse, multi-cultural art program and also offers six female artists within the 35 different artists from all over the globe.
Students will appreciate the broad offering of different backgrounds, roots and styles.
