With pride we are unveiling our new and exciting da Vinci art project, available for the 2011-12 school year.
Leonardo was a Renaissance master known for his famous Mona Lisa.  His genius of portraiture was extremely advanced for his era. We have captured this in a simple, successful, directed drawing lesson to create a Renaissance period portrait for all children’s ability levels—all classroom tested.
The art students will learn realistic proportions of the face, typical clothing of the Renaissance era, and a new chalk technique for coloring, consistent with historical drawings.  So join us next year in seeing the look of pride on your student’s faces as they create their own Renaissance portraits, inspired by master artist, Leonardo da Vinci.
