
About Meet the Masters
Founded in 1985, Meet the Masters (MTM) is a standards-based K–8 art education curriculum used by schools and districts across the country. Our program pairs the study of iconic artists and their masterworks with hands-on instruction, giving classroom teachers, parents, and art specialists alike an easy, high-quality way to bring real art history and technique into the classroom. We’re growing, and we’re adding a Marketing Manager to our team to help tell that story to more schools and districts than ever.
Position Summary
The Marketing Manager will help shape marketing strategy, own the day-to-day execution of MTM’s marketing across email, social, paid search, SEO/AEO, and the MTM website, while also managing the marketing budget, promotions, and gifting / influencer program. This is a hands-on role for someone who can plan the marketing calendar, implement marketing programs and accurately show performance and ROI impact. The majority of work will be remote, however, content gathering and meetings will be ongoing in Orange County and San Diego County, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute marketing promotions from concept through completion.
- Oversee the overall marketing budget, tracking spend and return across channels.
- Write, build, and send a newsletter twice per month, from copy and creation through list segmentation and send (HubSpot).
- Run paid search campaigns, including budget pacing, keyword strategy, and performance reporting.
- Drive SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) to grow MTM’s visibility in traditional and AI-driven search.
- Lead MTM’s gifting and influencer program, including partner outreach and fulfillment.
- Own social media marketing across all MTM channels, including gathering original content from schools near and in Orange County as well as editing content.
- Make edits and updates to the MTM website, including promotions (WordPress).
- Handle list purchasing and ongoing list management/hygiene for outbound marketing.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree with major coursework in marketing, communications and/or digital advertising.
- 3–5+ years of professional marketing experience with emphasis in digital, social and/or educational products.
- Hands-on experience building and sending email marketing via HubSpot or similar CRM tool.
- Strong knowledge of paid search and SEO/AEO fundamentals.
- Comfortable managing a budget and reporting on marketing ROI.
- Strong writer and editor with an eye for on-brand, polished content.
- Organized self-starter who can manage multiple channels and projects at once.

Salary range for this full-time remote position is $62,000–$68,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus the opportunity to earn an annual performance bonus of up to 10% of salary based on company and individual results. This is a salaried position and is not eligible for overtime pay. The majority of work will be remote, however, content gathering and meetings will be ongoing in Orange County and San Diego County, CA.
