Job Description for Classroom Teachers, Assembly Teachers & Managers
Positions are Part-Time and for the 26-27 School Year
Founded in 1985, Meet the Masters (MTM) is a standards-based K–8 art education curriculum used by schools and districts across the country. Our program pairs the study of iconic artists and their masterworks with hands-on instruction, giving classroom teachers, parents, and art specialists alike an easy, high-quality way to bring real art history and technique into the classroom.
Due to the growing demand of our curriculum at additional schools in Southern California, we are seeking experienced teachers.
Management, Classroom and Assembly Teaching Positions for 26-27 School Year:

Buena Park, Orange, Lake Forest and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
College graduate, experience with teaching elementary aged children. Knowledge of Meet the Masters program is a plus. Positions are part-time and hours vary depending on openings in your area. Must be available M-F during school hours.
Classroom Teacher Duties:
Ability to work with K-6 grades in scripted one-hour art lessons. Trainings & materials provided. Classroom teacher will instruct students on a variety of Meet the Masters art projects. Candidates need experience teaching elementary aged children.
Assembly Teacher Duties: Lead engaging art history presentations within assemblies to K-8 grade classes. Skilled in public speaking to groups with the ability to relate well to your audience in order to cover the material and make it come alive for the students.
Manager Duties:
Liaison between schools and instructors. Responsibilities include scheduling, art supply delivery, coordination with school facilitator, and facilitating contracts.
Skills Required: Reliability, organization, positive interaction with all ages of children and adults.
Pay: Per lesson, pay depends on experience/credentials.
